HOMESTAY - What is a Kiwi Homestay?

§ Living with a family; which may have 1 or 2 adults; and most families have children and pets

§ Typical Kiwi meals are eaten with the family and everyone helps with work around the house [For example: washing your own clothes; share washing dishes; keeping your room tidy]

§ Provides an opportunity to practise your English in your daily living

§ There are limited Homestays within walking distance of the Campus and so you may not be able to have a placement that is ideally convenient

Costs of Homestay:

§ Full - $195 per week includes Breakfast and Dinner Monday - Friday and 3 meals a day at the weekend

§ Independent - $130 - $150 per week but you must buy and cook all your own food
