Study in New Zealand

Dear students,

1 week ago we had a very nice conversation with the International Director, Gerard McGrath, at Tauranga Boys' College (located in Tauranga, New Zealand North Island, approx 2 hours south of Auckland).

The school is a boy's college. Some of our students might say "This is
nothing for me I would like to go to a mixed school" - however

- students will regularly mix with the .'s College next door

- education is top quality and much more focused on boy's need

- the college offers excellent sporting and cultural activities (students
can choose "outdoor activity as 1 subject and learn wind surfing, diving,
tennis etc.!)

- there are "Foundation English classes" every week (every day) - that means if there is a student with very less English his subjects might be in the first weeks 4 hours English + Sport + Music . until he feels more confident and his subjects can change to a "normal time table")

- students can also just come and study for 4 or 6 weeks (I think it was 300 NZ$/week. tuiton fee)!

- Students can do their high school certificate in NZ ! (should study at least
1.5 years in NZ!)
